All of the peels are designed to give near immediate results without the downtime often associated with chemical peels. They can be used as part of
an ongoing treatment program in clinic and at home to help manage issues with uneven skin tone, acne-prone skin, scarring and the natural ageing process.

Chemical peels are non-invasive (meaning no injections are used). They are treatments which are designed to enhance the quality of your skin.
A clinically approved chemical solution is applied to the skin area to be treated and it works by exfoliating the surface layer of the skin which then stimulates the production of cells underneath.
There are many benefits of a chemical peel. Including: - reducing and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles; - reduce scarring such as acne scarring
- reduce skin discolouration (hyperpigmentation) - reducing the appearance of age spots; - reduce the appearance of freckles
- softening the general texture of skin
- reducing acne inflammation
Chemical peels offer an array of benefits, much more than listed above.
After cleansing the skin, the tailored peel solution will be applied to the area to be treated and this will be left to work for a few minutes. The peel is then neutralised and suitable skin care and sun screen SPF are applied to the skin.
A soothing, toning algae mask can also be applied to the skin at client's request for an additional fee.
Dermaplaning can be added to remove the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hairs prior to the peel application. This is recommended for to enhance results. Dermaplaning cannot be added for client's with active acne.
At most a mild, tingling sensation or warming of the skin may be felt.
Immediately after the treatment your skin may appear to be slightly more red than usual, however this will soon reduce. No down-time is required and you can resume your normal daily activities.
For best results, we recommend a course of 4 – 6 treatments, spaced out at 1 to 4 weekly intervals.
Every client's skin is different and unique, and a bespoke treatment plan will be made with you during your consultation.
After receiving a chemical peel it is important to avoid intense sunlight and high temperatures for 7-10 days. We recommend using a high factor sunscreen for this period as your skin will be quite sensitive after the peel. Full aftercare advice will be provided.
